Although this goes at the end of the last thread after my name and before `the end` I`m dropping it here because the reason this issue played out like it did is corruption. This example is a prime one as I have not received a response for my request to my FMEP file.

People in authority breaking the rules and laws, abusing the authority they have.
There are tens of thousands of non-custodial parents and children with similar stories, this is not a one off or `there must have been a reason`. Abuse of power is systemic and Cdn society, the rule of law and our international sphere are paying the price.

In 1998 FMEP lied to Free Rein in Hope. Peter asked from a reduction fro the 50% as I was just coming off a two year bout with cancer. He was told 35% would be acceptable and then entered into your letter writing campaign that told potential employers they would have to deduct 50% or face legal consequences.

Last spring FMEP requested a reason why I couldn`t pay such as income from a disability pension only. I did that but you are hitting me with the maximum allowed under law.
After these two very significant lies I request a complete copy of my files as there is every reason to believe your add-ons are lies as well.

I`m sure you can understand the distrust your actions have created and comply with my request asap.

List of Liars

The list of liars I have proof of including instances of ignoring rules regulations or laws. RCMP, on several occasions, 2 school principles, Thornton, (lawyer), Family Justice Councilors, Madame Justice Baker, FMEP, Ombudsman, and now the Ministry of Human resources on Feb. 18, 2009.
This does not include the list of abuser that are directly responsible for the many assaults my children suffered through by being returned to the abuser to be punished for telling.

Last fall I explained the Ombudsman was looking into inaccuracies of previous statements made by FMEP and others. I explained if they forced me to sign up for CPP I would lose enough income to be without rent money. They forced me to sign by withholding my pension check until I signed.
On the 18th of this month I was told I willingly signed them last fall. To back up this claim I was given documentation noted by Linda Bakuska that quotes a conversation, according to Bakuska, it was my choice, that I didn`t want any options, that it was what I wanted.
If I was not forced, and willingly signed, why did I write `under duress` on every signature line before I signed my name? They didn`t notice and now come back with this outrageous lie that I wanted to sign when the proof I was forced is right on the form. The Ombudsman says all lies generated are within system norms.
This is standard operating procedure in all cases concerning children. There is no fixing a system so corrupt, the only option is to take a big broom and clean out the rats nest of liars cheats and child abusers. Look what the`ve done to the coming generation as now being witnessed in Vancouver.

They say gangs are the problem yet it`s been over 2 years since Vancouver gained the status of highest property crime rate of NA, 4 times higher than NYC, long before gangs almost tripled in size.
How do we expect to get honestly, integrity and truth from our elected officials when corruption from Ottawa has infected the entire system right down to the front line?
Bukuska lied and said it was my choice to commit financial suicide, lets not forget it`s all our choices to commit societal suicide by supporting a system broken by corruption.

I once interviewed a government employee who transferred out of the Ministry of Women with Children because no one cared about the children and if you did your career was over.

One worker forged a complaint document accusing a father of molesting his children ( http://groups.yahoo.com/group/sharedparenting/message/10109 ). Even though this was proved a false allegations it continued through several hearing by the father trying to end the resultant expensive supervised visitation. A judge finally asked the father how he could expect unsupervised visitation when there were active sexual abuse complaints. It took a special advocate to track down the continuing false reports to a worker. Father finally resumes the most important thing to a child while the worker was not fired, not reprimanded, but in keeping with incremental change was simply transferred to a different office.

Why would big money be foolish enough to invest in a country of massive and of increasingly noticeable (Vancouver, world gang capital) social decline that has become sop of a corrupt and broken system? Just give me one reason, even a weak one.

The issue is the highest number of parent denied children following the highest sole custody rate in Cdn history after the 1998 report `For the Sake of the Children`, even after instructions from the federal level to abide and reduce sole custody.

I`m sure many will challenge the current events and how we arrived. I welcome a challenge as I`m sure there are many plausible explanations. I have heard a few. Some like `just a bunch of disgruntled fathers trying to get out of supporting their children`. We all know the government keeps a support paid for the children most in need. We know the provinces that collect the highest percentage of child support have the highest youth problems. Child support is a failed program, fact. Disgruntled about paying child support, you bet because we`re tired of paying out the money we need to be a parent going to the government. OK so you don`t get it, I guess you`d have to be a father to understand watching the government intentionally deny your childrens potential immorally and unconstitutionally causes that disgruntled feeling, plausible.

`It`s all not true, crime is under control`.

Why is the government cooking the crime rates if this isn`t a problem. My guess is they don`t want the public to start asking why, who, how.

The fact crime rates are cooked can`t support the notion everything is fine, be happy.

The root cause of the 39% increase in mischeif in Vancouver in a year is parent denied children. A short media piece on some msm but no talk of the government investigating, no problem, be happy.
When the federal Liberal Party has getting to the root causes of crime in the election platform they always address the crime, not the root causes, curious qui?
Pretty hard to pass that off as disgruntled fathers even if the media buys it, international investors don`t. Years ago They were appraised of the future Canada has from the data, now the have physical proof in Vancouver BC Canada.

Disgruntled fathers, crime down, fathers abandoned their children, child support is the most important thing to a child, children don`t need fathers. That`s the rhetoric that`s used to support sole custody, no supporting facts so I certainly welcome anyone to challenge the facts.

btw my last stop in my personal quest for justice rests with the B.C. Ombudsman office in Victoria BC.
I`ve contacted then 3 times now over the last year. They sent me on a wild goose chase delaying the issue long enough to insure I`ve be out on the street before the facts can be reviewed and my name cleared.

I usually end with a reminder, no justice no investment. I`ll add, or be quick and prove me wrong or do it the hard way.

The system is oblivious to the increasing numbers of youth saying up yours. As more social and economic pressures mount as they become outnumbered by seniors etc more and more will say, up yours. The fact is gangs are the result of decades of failed federal government policy, child support being just one. Killing me won`t change cause, or support a solution, denial of the science won`t change course to a disastrous future for the next generation.

Congratulations. Your letter writing campaign left me too broke to be a father and now you enforcing a lie has left me without enough money to pay the rent.

Have you noticed that the provinces that collect the most child support have 50% more youth problems than the ones that collect the least. With 80% of repeat young offenders coming from a parent denied family and the current explosion in Vancouver with gangs (highest per capita of anywhere on the face of the planet) now being fed by the historically highest number of parent denied children now flooding the streets, I say again to you personally, well done.
Does it bother you abusing children by bankrupting the father out of there lives? Not just mine but the tens of thousands just in Vancouver alone. Have you ever seen the anguish a child goes through when they lose a much loved parent? You should be very ashamed but then again it`s obvious you don`t believe in God so I don`t imagine you or your ilk are bothered by a few thousand children abused by your deeds.

I suspect there has been a breakdown in communication.

The idea that child support is for the children is false and you are well aware of the recipient of the bulk of money you collect. Not that I care what scam is used to fund some personal political agenda but I do care what happens to the next generation.
Casual observances shows us decades of studies that show not losing a parent is the most important thing to a child of divorce while child support isn`t even on most lists. This is now a proven fact in Vancouver BC where the second highest amount of child support collected has resulted in the highest number of youth problems. However the highest amount of enforcement also leads to the highest number of non-custodial parents that can`t afford to be a parent.
The scuttlebutt floating around that gangs are the problem is a red herring. Vancouver achieved the noble status of the property crime capital of the world 2 years ago before gangs almost tripled in size. All this during an economic boom when crime traditionally falls off dramatically. Gangs are the result, not the cause. Even having the highest historical number of police on the streets have not slowed a flood of parent denied children onto the streets committing crimes and swelling gang numbers.
Add to that this generation will be outnumbered by seniors in a decade long economic decline with health care quadrupling, crime at all time highs with few opportunities to secure a decent future.
A great many of these children have suffered the abuse because the parent was bankrupted by FMEP so in the best interests of the children the comments were very appropriate, and rather than refusing to comment you should be explaining how you plan on resolving the issue of causing lifelong trauma in so many children.

Over the next 5 years the highest number of parent denied children ever will be flooding Cdn streets and you`re calling these comments inappropriate. In light of the masses of children of this generation abused by being denied a parent, you need a better excuse not to answer than inappropriate.

According to Linda Blackman of the ombudsman office in a letter dated Feb. 11 09 I can have an exemption from FMEP if there is not sufficient funds left to meet my basic needs. Although I have stated several times I will not be able to meet the rent if you seize any money on the amount I`ve already paid.

Why have you not given me an exemption so I can keep a roof over my head?

An exemption is already in place on all Federal Government attachments to CPP. We can only garnish 25% of the total amount paid on your CPP. The other 75% is already exempt from our attachment.
A further exemption must be applied for and reviewed with your Enforcement Officer, Gisela Hauschildt. I will ask your Enforcement Officer to send out the forms which you must complete in full and return to us. A repayment proposal towards the arrears must be included on these forms. Please note, an exemption is not automatically granted upon request and a repayment arrangement must be reached before the

In 1998 when I could return to the work force after cancer I was told I would be required to send 50% of my wages to you. I spoke with Peter of Free Rein in Hope BC. I explained it would be very difficult to start out with nothing, lose 50%, and still have gas money to get to work. He spoke with FMEP and reported to me they said they would only collect 35%. Being the top of the preferred hire list for the many companies I`d worked for I was dumfounded not to get hired by any till one told me they had received a letter from FMEP regarding their obligation to remove 50%. Fearing I would disrupt the crew because I would be making only half of the rest they wouldn`t hire me.
Even though I was willing to pay the bill again I was denied my right to work by your actions. Now both my mind and body are broken leaving no doubt I`ll ever go back to work and you want a repayment schedule even though you know I`m only pennies from making my rent. You obviously want me out on the street where I will shortly die of exposure.
FMEP has cost me the most productive years of my life never to be returned and you want a repayment arrangement. It is certainly obvious to me that you have never had collecting money as a priority but rather persecuted to death the objective.

You are fully aware that Leona Baker is lying. She told my kids the money was to pay her lawyer and her answer to you was just plain vague, "other things". There is no requirement to pay court costs or legal fees in the order. She is lying and you have known it all along yet you continue to persecute me to the point where you have taken away my right to work and now my right to life itself.
Now that you`ve succeeded in forcing me out of life itself you want me to get down on my knees and beg for my life with a `payment schedule`.

Let me tell you, long before I give in to the evil you have perpetrated on me,,, I will die on my feet long before I`ll live on my knees.

As many are aware the court transcript tape that proves I paid child support stops and starts missing my statement the`re my kids I`ll pay for them.

My final statement, I`ve never been in arrears in child support.

I sold off my heavy equipment to satisfy an outstanding debt to my mother which both my ex and myself arranged,,, together. Because it was in a court order I not move any assets around I was found guilty of contempt and sentenced to 2 weeks even though under the law of common law marriage I owned the equipment solely. Get that? I owned it outright but sold it to pay off a mutual debt and got jail time for it, that`s Cdn justice.
On my way to jail the lawyer Thornton had my trip sidetracked to a courtroom where he wanted me to spend two weeks in jail, two weeks out and two weeks in until I re-borrowed the money personally and turned it over under unjust enrichment. *The judge tossed it out.* I bring this up because when the proceeds of the sale of the house was turned over to pay child support I missed while dealing with cancer, the order read, trust or unjust enrichment (generic legal term). The previous attempt by Thornton to have paying off a mutual debt with my personal finances as unjust enrichment is the only defense he has for misrepresenting the 1996 hearing. Unjust enrichment was tossed, that leaves in trust. It was in trust and turned over for child support as per my 1996 instructions while I was incapacitated. I was never in arrears in child support.

My options after finding the courtroom tape stopped and started just before and after the verbal statements.

Question??? Do the courts find the cost of a few minutes of tape more important that the lives of the children affected,,, or do they just wish to keep as much control through secrecy as the umbrella they operate under.

I`m sure the priding judge on Chilliwack file E-0160 courtroom 004 April 29th 1996, Master Joyce, would clearly remember as he was shocked enough to say, "that`s very unusual Mr.Thornton" when asked that support payments missed would be seized from the house sale. He would also have to remember that immediately spoke up with "no problem your honour, the`re my kids I`ll pay for them.

No one has admitted to why the money was paid out except when asked if it was for child support, `it was for other things`. The court order to release the funds is trust which can only be my 1996 instruction on child support missed of which other things rule that out. The other, unjust enrichment, was already tried and tossed before the order to release.

Unfortunately after 10 years of trying to get the truth out I`ve run out of time. FMEP has come across a sure fire plan to execute me simply by taking my rent money and putting me out on the street. While it may be a matter of opinion as to the wether it`s simply an SOP execution or silencing the truth it matters not.

Even if I had the time I would have to stand alone against the courts control to get the truth recognized,,, question??? answered.

For the many that simply does not understand how Cdn society has fallen and for the many that know.

If the court finds you guilty of being a father they sentence you to a lifetime of sole custody. If you never give up trying to be a father in all respects they commute it to death. Today I was executed.

Today I received an accounting from FMEP. The $24,000 paid out of my share of the sale of the house as per court agreement in the spring of 1996 to cover any arrears while recovering from cancer treatments and ordered paid by court order in the fall of 1998 is not included in the accounting. According to my calculations taking into account an exception under serious illness (cancer) and ongoing disability I have a credit of $18,000.00 yet FMEP just threatened to have my license suspended.

Until the $24,000 is located I trust you will treat this as a theft. Under Cdn law as you are in a position of authority and failure to act on a crime committed or a crime about to be committed, you are as responsible as the person committing the crime.

Is this the image you wish the international community to have of Canada?

Perhaps Miss Boyes as a legal advocate you would like to explain why you refuse to advocate this case.

I`ve already tried legal aid and was refused, in writing.For your information in 2000 I started a global email list of all stock exchanges, money managers and brokerage houses detailing the lack of rule of law in Canada. Their research depts looked at the data and decided Canada was the worst place in the world to invest. International investors started leaving Canada in 2002 with complete abandonment as of 3 years ago in everything but globally priced raw resources. They agree the rule of law has been abandoned.While the `system` can beat me down every day of the week you or the government has no influence in investment.You can check with Premier Campbell as this is exactly what I told him when I started and exactly where we are at. Almost 500,000 jobs lost in Ontario since 2002. No investors for the Gateway Project to name a couple of notables. What will it take to get the return of the rule of law? Another 500,000 jobs? As I`ve mentioned before in 1996 I was diagnosed with cancer. Although I was not required to pay child support during that time I instructed the courts to use my share of any child support I was in arrears, "no problem your Honour, the`re my kids and I`ll pay for them".Included in the 1998 final decision by Madame Justice Baker were instructions to pay the entire proceeds to Ms. Baker which amounted to apx. 3 times the payments I missed and enough to pay 3 years in advance. Even though I was not only paid up to date but was still paid up for 2 years more FMEP sent a letter, of which I have one, to every employer I had every worked for which was many. To explain why I had so many I worked all 3 main industries for 30 years till I had enough experience to bid and contract jobs myself. No mean achievement for a grade 8 student drop-out. I developed enough skill to be a preferred employment applicant. I have many letters of gold references to prove it.In late 1999 I was recovering enough from cancer treatment and surgery to assess the job market for opportunities when I discovered that FMEP sent out a letter demanding that any company that hired me would have to deduct 50% of my wages. Even though I explained I was not only paid up but paid in advance for 2 more years no company would hire me even though I was a preferred employment applicant. FMEP, by sending out false and extremely damaging information that depicted me as a dead beat dad gave me the status of an escaped criminal. Today I received a letter from FMEP that I was $3000. in arrears and threatening me with license and passport denial. Again I am not in arrears and again FMEP is not even following it`s own rules which states that if the recipient fails to notify FMEP of any payment received they will no longer honour or assist that person in further collections. They have gone from breaking the law with criminal slander to just plain operating outside the law.The results have been terrible. Both my children have PAS from hearing things like, " why doesn`t that lazy bum go out and get a job and pay some child support". After 30 years of very hard work I1ve just lost that last tens years which should have been my most productive. Even if this were straightened out today it would take me ten years to get back to where I was, 10 years too late.I`m down to one last project which fully encompasses Premier Campbells vision for a green BC economy. Haven been falsely given the status of an escaped convict I won`t even be able to get the Premier to respond to my proposal. This is not the kind of information that will spur a return of international investor confidence in Canada. For the politicians, this is not an uncommon occurrence. I have read many more stories of even worse behavior with lives ruined including parents committing suicide, leaving the children with just one parent. I suggest a complete investigation if you want investors to return to Canada, which I believe the future of the BC economy, the Gateway Project is currently very short of.

During a conversation with Ellan Boyes, boyese@comserv.bc.ca Chilliwack C Services I informed her that the court, as per my instructions in a court order, use any proceeds belonging to me to pay child support I would be in arrears due to cancer. The complete story is below.She said even though it`s in the court order my ex might have refused to report payment to FMEP because she didn`t receive it. If that`s the case then either the courts still have it or someone stole it. I can`t get any answers from anyone nor was I sent any documentation at any time regarding disbursement. I`m not trying to cause an international incident but I think I have the right to know what happened to the money.

I`ve been in contact with you before over just cause firings.I was advised to contact you concerning this matter as well.My problem is I`ve been left in arrears in child support when I`ve never been in arrears.In 1996 I was diagnosed with cancer. The lawyer for the mother of my children held a hearing where he asked that if I where to fall behind in payment it would be taken out of my share of the proceeds of the sale of our house. The judge said "this is a very unusual request". As I was not required to pay support while out of the workforce with treatment and surgery and as I was up to date in support at the time I quickly said, "no problem your honour, the`re my children and I`ll agree to those terms".In 1998 the final decision came down from the courts and ordered all the sale proceeds to go to Ms. Baker which not only covered arrears from illness but paid 2 years in advance.Ms. Baker has refused to notify FMEP that she was paid, they refuse to look at the documentation saying in needs a court variance, the courts say it`s just an accounting issue.I have very little time left to straighten this out but feel if I could I`d have a chance to straighten out at least a little of my life.10 years and 2 children is a lot to lose over an accounting error.the court docket is E0160 Chilliwack registryLeona Collen Baker. Gauging Justice in CanadaToday
I went to see Ellen Boyes, Chilliwack BC, an advocate to straighten out my alleged child support arrears. boyese@comserv.bc.caI never was in arrears and even though I with a serious illness an not required to pay I fully consented to having any payments I missed taken out of my share of the sale of the house due to cancer. My ex refused to tell FMEP that she had not only received full payment from the courts in 1998 but 2 years worth advance payments as well.By my calculations I`m still not in arrears so you`ll never guess what advice I got from who was recommended to advocate for me,,,, get a lawyer.Ten years and I`m still going around the same circle. I`ve worn such a grove in the path it`s obvious I`ll never climb out and even more obvious that no one wants me to stop going around the circle.With a grade 8 education I worked my way to the top of the three main industries in BC.FMEP sent out letters to all the companies, which is a large number of happy employers, that if they hired me they would have to take 50% of my wages. I was told they couldn`t hire someone that made 50% less than coworkers fearing a disruption to the crew.Even I did get my life back on track it would take me 10 years just to get where I was 10 years ago. As I`ll be 60 soon this has ended any chance I`ll ever have of finishing off what I started at 15 years old. Get a lawyer, now that`s the kind of help the unjustly accused really needs don`t you think?

I joined a very influential group on shared parenting before the 1998 report `For the Sake of the Children` was released. This group was the primary influence in the increase and unity of groups world wide. Using the Internet various members established ourselves as the `last word` on childrens rights in Canada. Using the root cause of 80% of youth crime we projected where Canada would be in 2005, the complete loss of investor confidence in Canada. This was further ingrained in 2002 when Ann McLellan ignored the report and the courts, against the wishes of the federal justice committee, took sole custody to it`s highest historical level ever. We now have 2 million fatherless children in Canada. Vancouver, even though it collects the second highest amount of child support has the highest sole custody fatherless children in Canada and not by coincidence it also has the highest property crime rate in NA which is now 4 times higher than NYC. Furthermore reported crime has dropped to only 1 in 7 even though we have more police per capita now than ever before.International investment in Canada in everything but globally priced raw resources started leaving in 2002 dropping to 0 investment as of three years ago. We know who and how to get the word out on the massive child abuse sponsored by the justice industry.By your attitude I am quite sure you`ve talked to Thornton. My children were being assaulted, beaten to the ground every time they asked to see me. They reported several of the assaults to the police and the ministry but were returned every time to the abuser and punished for telling.Thornton told a judge that my children were running away because "Mr. Smith told the children to run away or they would never see him again". My children were heavily grilled previous to the hearing and said I never told them to run away. Thornton knew this but lied to the judge anyway. His lies caused my children to grow up without their father. In fact the only thing I ever said to them after their many attempts to report the assaults was "you don`t have to stay in the house if you`re being beaten up". You can confirm this with my children anytime you like.By denying me justice on the falsely contrived child support arrears and protecting the liar Thornton you simply ingrain even more the lack of justice in Canada and the further away Canada is to restoring investor confidence in the country. You will succeed in putting me out in the street but it won`t stop the march toward justice the tens of thousands of use have instigated.As I`m one of the most respected economic analysts in our group you will in fact cause an even greater rift between Canada and the global economic community but good luck bringing this down to another personal attack on my life.Whatever you heard form Thornton is most likely another lie to hide his previous ones.

The final post of the outline. Appropriate that it is posted last and read first as it outlines the main thrust of the book, Father Denied. I might add a current event now and then.

For those that have followed me over the years I`ve been very consistent. The only group that benefits from sole is the justice industry by maximizing profit. The second largest group are politicians in the form of votes. There is a spin off to some extremists groups such as NOW and SOW which occurs in no small part thanks to the support, promotion, and even funding by the justice industry as a means of increasing profit. Cdn governments from Surrey BC all the way to Ottawa have been making desperate attempts to cover up the results of denying a child a parent, and their involvement.
By now you must have guessed, the evidence I`ve spent tens years collecting that will be the book is not for profit. Yes negotiating publishing rights are in order but it`s more important to me that people involved in abusing children either directly or as government indirectly be named along with the documentation. I`ve never been in this for fame and fortune Only for the children, and that will not change.
That is why I`ve decided to name John Les, BC Solicitor General as the prime example the kind of person that represents the despicable acts carried out by those named in the documentation, including when he was sued and lost to constituents that were bullied.

British Columbia has had consistently poor
performance on two of the five indicators in the
social condition index. The BC Progress Board
released reports on crime and social condition in
2006 to help explain this performance and make
suggestions for improvement. The crime report,
Reducing Crime and Improving Criminal Justice in
British Columbia: Recommendations for Change,
is discussed below and the social condition report
is discussed opposite performance indicator 22.
There are four primary causes of crime in BC:
(i) Widespread substance abuse (both drugs
and alcohol) and the activities of the criminal
business organizations involved in the illegal
drug trade;
(ii) Defective and/or deficient childhood
development practices;
(iii) Mental disorder, including cognitive
impairments such as brain injuries and fetal
alcohol spectrum disorder; and,
(iv) The impoverished and unstable lifestyles
experienced by many individuals living in inner
urban areas, many of whom are chronic, repeat
offenders addicted to drugs and alcohol.
Of all the problems and challenges facing the
criminal justice system in the province, three
primary clusters stand out:
(i) The apparent failure of the criminal justice
apparatus to ensure that offenders face the
consequences of their behaviour;
(ii) A failure to guarantee the speedy and fair
disposition of cases once an offender is identified,
to ensure that justice is swift, sure and effective;
and,
(iii) The problem of inter-agency and interministry
barriers and disorganization.

BC has 50% more lawyers than doctors, the justice industry is the largest industry in BC with the highest profit margin. When you read the book you`ll understand why the SG and AG are protecting this industry.
To clarify the book is about the laws that are in place to protect children that are being ignored to intentionally denied. I`ve already told the story of the results, crime stats tell it all too well, so this book is the who, how, and why story about the 2 million parent denied children here in Canada.

The Trial

After reading this anyone that thinks justice is in the best interests of the children and not for the obvious results, profit, has an agenda to conceal the truth.
The first ties into the last.
The first. I was subpoenaed as a witness by the plaintiffs lawyer. In case you`re not aware of Cdn court rules that means I could not present any evidence or say anything in court unless it was to answer a question by the exs lawyer. If I said anything the judge was required (gleefully) to ignore it. I did have two section 15 custody and access reports present. The court counselors recommended shared custody while the expert independent assessment recommended split custody, two weeks for the children with each parent continuously.
The reports took a total of three years to complete but the judge decided that because they were now six months old at trail date they were stale dated, not to be used. I found this particularly interested because when asked by her own lawyer on whether she had ever denied access she said "no". She admitted to the Dr. that she had repeatedly denied access for no reason and this was noted in his report.
The judge commented that she must have had a reason. The only place the judge would have found out she had denied access was in the stale dated report that the judge refused as evidence. The judge knew she lied in court but excused it with `she must have had a reason`. Perhaps I misunderstood the judges comment, perhaps the judge was saying she must have had a reason to lie to her and it wasn`t about denying access. Is this a case where two wrongs make a right? Apparently in the courts eyes it is.
The last. Because I could not present evidence or even speak on my childrens behalf I filed for an appeal to the sole custody decision. I was refused on the grounds `the judge heard enough from your ex to make her judgement`.
This is the way the justice industry in Canada works. The best interests of the child or creating the potential for profit.
Shouldn`t be a hard call.

Access or Abuse

Society abhors child abuse yet in Canada it`s sanctioned and supported on a wide spread scale, see link below.
My children were constantly abused physically and mentally. The first time they told me they were slapped to the ground simply for asking to see me I reported it to the police and spent the night in jail.
The next two times it was reported to the police with no encouragement from me. When the police failed to take action and it happened again I suggested to the children they try the childrens help line. This took the complaint to the Ministry of children and Family where they hide the complaint from the police. Eventually they started running away but were always returned to the abuser and punished for telling. I decided that the only way to end the abuse was for me to leave, so they wouldn`t be asking to see me. After a few years I came back in the hopes the situation had changed, nope.
You won`t believe the chain of events that cascaded from my return, precipitated by the justice industry, it`ll be in the book.

So much for the governments claim that `only a few children slip through the cracks`.

The Ludicrous

Before I was diagnosed with cancer in 1995 I had the children three days a week as weekend work was my busiest time. Even though the mother of my children quit her job and was home all week she didn`t like the idea she couldn`t party on weekends so she had the order changed to every other weekend. Then she discovered that she could pay people with the child support she received to take the kids for the weekend. I`m sure both children remember well all the weekends they spent at other peoples houses. Imagine that, I`m paying her to keep the kids away from me and even more ludicrous, the Cdn government says this is the most important thing to a child of divorce.
You`ll have to wait for the book to find out what the ludicrous response from the courts was and how it played out.

The Consequences

I`ve touched on child support but I`ll save the really interesting information for the book, consider this the condensed version with each post a book section.
The Consequences
I suspect most Cdns have yet to realize, or perhaps they believe the`re insulated from the serious consequences a corrupt justice industry has on their personal situation.
Recently a report came out that placed Vancouvers property crime rate at the highest in North America. No surprise to those that have been exposing why. Four times higher than New York City and that`s based on reported crime, not the estimated 6 out of 7 that are not reported, in reality it`s astronomical.
Here`s the breakdown, my complete analysis in the book will also be based on statistics for accuracy.
Statistically 80% of crime is rooted in a child denied a parent, usually the result of sole custody.
The current record high incidences of crime committed is by the generation that are, or will be, the parents of a historical first, a generation of youths that are outnumbered by seniors that will drive health care costs to quadruple. To top that they are also the leading edge of the highest sole custody rate creating the highest number of children denied a parent, the root cause of crime. lol, I can already hear the poopaas. Your thinking there are lots of things that will nullify the results of the highest number of youth problems in a generation outnumbered by seniors, like the economy.
Greed is the root of evil in our justice industry and a good economy, historically, has also been the salvation. As of today Vancouver has gone through it`s best economic boom ever with labour shortages creating excellent work incentives, yet crime is on the rampage, a complete reversal of historical trends. You say np, the police are being `restructured` and our economy is strong so we`ll pull through even though crime has not responded to our strong economic conditions which I stress is a historic first.
Our economy has gone from manufacturing to raw resource exporter in the last five years. As the global economy and markets slow China will reduce demand dramatically. They will be only too happy avoid further expansion as markets contract and concentrate of stabilizing their recent rapid growth that has lead to the explosion in commodity prices. The Cdn government has no influence on global prices They, like us are just riding along with the wave of global demand. As demand falls revenue will decrease along with government job creation. Did I forget to mention our employment rate looks so good due entirely to government hiring, not the private sector creating jobs.

We`ve heard from Cdn governments our economy is strong even if global demand drops off. The argument that seems to be widely believed is simply not believable. They say even if global demand drops off China will continue to consume large amounts of raw resources suppling their own countries demand for finished goods keeping commodity prices up. Consider this, Walmart is China's 7th largest trading partner. With Cdns owing $1.25 for every $1.00 in assets and in debt for $1T, $50B in credit card debt, $250M in personal loans and Americans $10T in debt retailers like Walmart will soon be cutting way back. The amount of goods produced in China already vastly out supplies their own demand. Even if it didn`t why would they continue to expand to supply their own market when consolidation would bring commodity prices down when high prices are the result of overall global demand and not internally.
When I first started writing about future events I said Ontario would take the first and biggest hit. The`ve been shedding jobs since 2002. Now I`m saying the rest of Canada will now feel the effects because the problems that our federal government has persistently avoided.
Cause and effect will be detailed in the book.

Foreclosures have soared to record highs and probably will keep rising.
This is not just a US problem. Canada is not insulated from trouble in our main source of revenue, falling commodity prices. Canada, Europe, UK and other countries have been bailing out the mortgage holders on subprime and ABCP. The results are in, we are facing a major global slowdown that will put the Cdn economy in a situation that historically increases crime which is already at historic highs.

London's property market hit what was widely regarded as a peak of insanity in January when a six-square-metre storage room in a basement in the tony Knightsbridge district sold for the equivalent of US$335,000. By December, British home prices were reported to have fallen during the month by the most in three years amid fears of a crash in 2008.

The current situation in the US replicates our Cdn 80`s housing crash. The rumour originating in the real estate offices that housing will stay strong until interest rates spike up as was the case in the 80`s is false, inflation combined with a broke consumer is the culprit, not interest rates.

Whos your (dead beat) daddy?

The only time I`ve ever threatened my ex with anything, I told her if the children don`t ask I won`t talk, if they ask I`ll give them the shortest possible answer but `if they are lied to I`ll make sure they know the truth`.
Here`s the truth, deal with it.
I keep thinking back to my son telling me his stepfather saying I`m a dead beat dad because I didn`t work and pay child support. It`s time to deal with it.
Recently I showed my daughter a 1998 court order that released ALL of the proceeds of the sale of the T Lake property to Ms. B****. This came about because of a previous court order that I approved of using the sale proceeds to pay off any arrears in child support accumulated due to my being out of the work force in 1996 with cancer. For final calculations you might want to note that I was not obligated to pay during this two and a half years. Even though the judge responded to her request in 1996 to pay anyway through the sale proceeds with, `this is very unusual`, meaning I wasn`t obligated to pay. I said to the judge `they are my children and I`ll pay regardless`.
By 1998 the arrears amounted to just over $17,000 while my share of the sale of the property amounted to just over $24,000. Discounting the time I was not obligated to pay but did so on a voluntary basis the arrears amount would only have been $2,000. Apparently it wasn`t good enough that I pay the extra $15,000 but that the whole $24,000 of my share be turned over. Just to set the record straight I only legally owed $2,000, since that time I`ve been on a disability pension which I`m not obligated to pay child support. It does leave three years where I was, bringing the grand total of support owed to $20,000. By my calculation that still leaves me with a credit of $4,000 yet I`m still deeply in arrears. The reason I`m in arrears is because Ms. Baker failed to notify Family Maintenance Enforcement Program that I paid the full amount plus an extra $7,000. According to FMEP if a payee does not notify FMEP of a payment they are no longer entitled to FMEP assistance. Yes I did talk to them, they didn`t care.
btw that final figure does not include the 1995 agreement where I turned over my $250,000 share of the company I owned `in leu of child support` which are the exact words signed by Ms. Baker to the agreement.
This is only one of many atrocities committed and approved by a very corrupt justice system.

I should add during the three years I was able to work FMEP sent out a letter to all past and potential employers threatening that if they hired me and didn`t withhold 50% of my earning they would be prosecuted. Consequently and although I had a very good work reputation no one would hire me as they though someone making half the rate of the rest of the crew would cause trouble.
If you want to know what that means in dollars a $5,000/month job at a 34% tax rate which is average for me would send $2500 to FMEP and $1700 in taxes leaving me with $800/month. Work expenses alone cover most of that let alone rent or food, and that`s even with the fact that I don`t owe anything, in fact I have a credit in support.

There is no end to the reprehensible methods the justice industry will go to in ensuring the non-custodial parent is too broke to be a parent. Nothing too underhanded, unlawful and sometimes downright evil in the name of increased profits through parent denied children.

If the Cdn government thinks the police need restructuring it`s hard to believe they think a justice industry that is rotten to the core is just fine.
